HabitLoom is an offline-first habit tracker. It works fully without an account, and your habits, check-ins and notes stay on your device unless you choose to sync them. A small amount of usage and crash data is sent so the app can be kept working, as described below.
This policy describes what the app collects, why, and what you can do about it.
The short version
Your habits, check-ins and notes are stored on your device.
They are uploaded only if you have HabitLoom Pro and sign in, which turns on sync. They are never shared with anyone else, and never sold.
Usage statistics and crash reports go to Google Firebase. They are not linked to your account and never contain your habits, notes or any text you write.
We do not run ads, and the app does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
You can delete your account, and the habits synced to it, from inside the app.
What the app stores on your device
Held in the operating system's app storage, readable only by HabitLoom:
Habits — name, description, icon, colour, schedule, reminders, category.
Check-ins — which days you marked, skipped or left blank.
Notes — the per-day and per-habit text you write.
Preferences — theme, language, week start, cell shape.
Uninstalling the app removes all of it. Your device's own backups, in iCloud or on a computer, can still hold a copy under Apple's terms until they are replaced.
On an Apple Watch, the watch app keeps a copy of what it shows: your habits' names, icons and colours and their recent check-ins, but not your notes. Your iPhone sends it straight to your paired watch over Apple's connection between the two, and the check-ins you make on the watch go back the same way; none of it passes through our servers. The watch app sends no analytics or crash reports. Removing HabitLoom from the watch removes its copy.
What leaves your device
Only if you sign in
Signing in is optional, and everything works without an account. It is there for sync, which is part of HabitLoom Pro, and so that Pro you bought follows you to your other devices. Signing in without Pro uploads no habits.
Account identity. Signing in with Apple or Google gives us a user id and, where the provider supplies them, your email address and your name. Apple shares your name only the first time you sign in, and we save it as your account's display name. We use these to identify your account and for nothing else. If you use Apple's Hide My Email, we only ever see the relay address.
Your habit data, while you have Pro — habits, check-ins, notes and reminder times, plus your Home layout and order, your check-in total, which habits you deleted and which tips you have seen — synced to Google Firestore under your account id, so the same habits appear on your other devices. It is stored in a location only your signed-in account can read or write, enforced by server-side rules. If Pro ends, syncing stops; what was already synced stays until you delete your account. Your settings, such as theme, language and week start, are not synced; they stay on each device.
Notifications
Reminders, including the daily check-in, are scheduled by your device itself. On iOS and iPadOS 26.1 and later they ring as alarms once you allow HabitLoom to set them; on earlier versions, or if you don't, they arrive as notifications. Scheduling them involves no server. Reminder times are part of a habit, so they sync along with it while sync is on.
Announcements are off unless you turn them on in Settings. When the app starts, Firebase Cloud Messaging gives the device a push token, which is how an announcement can reach it; the token is not linked to your account. Turning announcements on asks for permission to notify you and subscribes the device to app news. Turning them off unsubscribes it.
Purchases
Subscriptions and the one-time Lifetime purchase are billed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your card details. To know whether to unlock paid features, the app passes the App Store receipt to our payments provider, RevenueCat, which checks it and keeps your purchase history — what you bought, when, and whether a trial or renewal is running — under a random customer id. When you sign in, that history is linked to your account id, so Pro follows you to your other devices.
Analytics
The app includes Google Firebase Analytics, which reports usage data — app opens, which screens you open and for how long, session length, how far you got through the first-run tour, whether the upgrade screen was shown and whether a purchase or restore went through, device model, OS version, country. With it go three general facts: your plan (free, trial, monthly, annual, lifetime or ended), roughly how many habits you have (a range such as 4–5, never their names), and whether you are signed in. It is tied to a random identifier for this installation, not to your account, name or email. It does not receive your habits, notes or any text you write.
Crash reports and diagnostics
If the app crashes or hits an error, Google Firebase Crashlytics sends us a report so we can fix it: a technical description of what went wrong, the device model, OS version, app version, the same three general facts as above, and a random identifier for this installation. Reports are not linked to your account, and they never contain your habits, notes or any text you write.
The Firebase libraries in the app also send Google technical diagnostics about how they are running — library and app versions, OS version, whether a request worked — so the services keep working and their use can be measured. These are not linked to your account either.
Third parties
The app uses Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Messaging, Analytics and Crashlytics), operated by Google. Data handled by those services is subject to Google's own privacy terms: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
Signing in with Apple is handled by Apple and subject to Apple's privacy policy; signing in with Google is handled by Google and subject to Google's.
Purchases are processed by Apple and validated through RevenueCat (https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy).
We do not sell personal data, and there are no advertising networks or data brokers in the app.
Keeping your data, and removing it
Synced habits and your account record are kept for as long as your account exists, even after Pro ends. Usage analytics and crash reports are not linked to your account and are kept by Google only for a limited period. Purchase records stay with Apple and RevenueCat, which keep them for billing, tax and restoring purchases, even after you delete your account.
Delete your account — Settings → Account → Delete account, then Tap again to delete (on a Mac, Settings… → Account, then Click again to delete). Apple or Google may ask you to sign in once more to confirm. This removes your synced habits from our servers and deletes your sign-in record, including your email address and name. The copy on your device is left alone, so the app keeps working; uninstall to remove that too. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription — do that in your App Store settings. If you cannot reach the app, or the button is not there, ask us instead: https://www.sogdyapps.com/habitloom/delete-your-account
Ask us — write to the support address below and we will help.
Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct, export or erase your personal data, and to object to processing. Deleting your account in the app erases your synced data and sign-in record directly; for a copy of your data, to have your purchase history removed too, or anything else, contact us.
Children
HabitLoom is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date above will change, and the Privacy Policy link in the app's Settings always opens the current version.
Contact
HabitLoom is made by Sogdy Apps, the publishing name of Hiloliddin Jaloliddinzoda, an independent developer who is also the seller on the App Store and is responsible for the personal data described in this policy.
