Write to us in English or Russian. We read everything and usually reply within a few days. The quickest way is Settings → About → Send feedback, which starts an email with the app version already filled in. Writing from somewhere else? Tell us your device, your iOS version and the app version (Settings, at the very bottom) and a fix comes much faster.
Common questions
Do I need an account?
No. HabitLoom works completely offline without one. An account lets your habits follow you to another device, which is part of HabitLoom Pro, and lets your Pro follow you too. Right after you get Pro, the app offers to sign you in; you can skip that and sign in later from Settings → Account.
What is free, and what does Pro cost?
Up to three habits are free forever, with reminders, widgets, daily notes, custom categories, every cell shape and the Apple Watch app. Pro adds unlimited habits and sync. In the US it is $1.99 a month or $9.99 a year, each with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers, or $19.99 once for Lifetime. Prices vary by country, and the one shown in the app is the one that applies.
Where is my data?
Your habits, check-ins and notes are on your device. They leave it only if you have Pro and sign in, which turns on sync. HabitLoom has no export of its own: without sync, your habits are only on that device and in any iCloud or computer backup of it, and setting up a new device from such a backup can bring them along. Sync is the way that does not depend on a backup: get Pro and sign in on the old device. On the new one, open Settings → Account, tap Already have Pro? Sign in and sign in the same way. Pro and your habits arrive by themselves.
HabitLoom also sends usage analytics and crash reports that are not linked to you and never contain your habits or anything you write. The Privacy Policy lists exactly what.
Using HabitLoom on two devices
Sync is part of Pro, and Pro follows your account. On the second device, open Settings → Account, tap Already have Pro? Sign in, and sign in the same way as on the first device: with Apple, or with Google. Pro switches on and your habits arrive.
If you bought Pro but never signed in, sign in on the first device first: Settings → Account, then Continue with Apple or Continue with Google. That ties Pro to your account and uploads your habits. Then sign in on the second device as above.
If the second device already has habits of its own and your account has some too, HabitLoom asks before replacing them with your account's. You can cancel instead: you stay signed out, without sync or your account's Pro, and keep the device's habits. The two sets are never merged.
I bought Pro and the app still says free
If you signed in when you got Pro, sign in again with the same account (Settings → Account → Already have Pro? Sign in). Otherwise open the Pro screen (Settings → Account → Unlock Pro to sync is the quickest way there) and tap Restore purchases. Purchases are tied to the Apple ID that made them, so make sure this device is signed in to the same one (Settings → your name → Media & Purchases; on a Mac, System Settings → your name → Media & Purchases). If it still does not unlock, email us with Apple's receipt email or its order ID.
I switched to Lifetime during my free trial
Buying Lifetime does not cancel the trial — only you can, in the App Store. Right after the purchase HabitLoom shows a Cancel the trial button that opens the right screen, and Settings keeps a reminder until it is done. By hand:
iPhone/iPad — Settings → your name → Subscriptions → HabitLoom → Cancel Free Trial
Mac — App Store → your name → Account Settings → Subscriptions → Manage, then Edit next to HabitLoom
You keep Pro either way. If the trial renewed before you cancelled, ask Apple for a refund (link under Refunds below).
How do I cancel?
In the App Store, not in HabitLoom:
iPhone/iPad — Settings → your name → Subscriptions → HabitLoom
Mac — App Store → your name → Account Settings → Subscriptions → Manage, then Edit next to HabitLoom
Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Cancelling does not delete your habits: when Pro ends, your first three stay fully usable and the rest stay on your device, locked and read-only, until you renew. Sync pauses until then too, and so do the locked habits' reminders.
Refunds
Apple handles all billing, so refunds go through Apple, not us: https://reportaproblem.apple.com
My reminders are not arriving
Check that the habit has a reminder set (up to three per habit), and that it is not one of the habits locked after Pro ended. On iPhone or iPad with iOS 26.1 or later, reminders ring as alarms: when HabitLoom asks to schedule alarms, allow it, or turn on Alarms later in Settings → Apps → HabitLoom. On older versions, or with Alarms off, they arrive as notifications instead, so allow notifications for HabitLoom in Settings. On a Mac they are always notifications: allow them in System Settings → Notifications → HabitLoom.
A widget is blank or out of date
Home-screen, lock-screen and Mac desktop widgets need iOS 17 or macOS 14 or later. Without Pro they show your first three habits. Open the app once so it can publish a fresh snapshot, then remove and re-add the widget.
HabitLoom on Apple Watch
The watch app comes with the iPhone app and needs watchOS 26 or later (Apple Watch Series 6, SE 2nd generation, Ultra, or newer). If it is not on your watch, open the Watch app on your iPhone, find HabitLoom under Available Apps and tap Install.
The watch gets your habits from your iPhone, so open HabitLoom on the iPhone once after installing. Tap a habit's square to check off today, or its name for its week, a rest day and its month. When your iPhone is out of reach, the watch shows Waiting for iPhone and sends your check-ins as soon as it can. For a watch-face complication, touch and hold the face, tap Edit, and choose HabitLoom's Today or Chain.
Without Pro the watch shows your first three habits, and the rest show a lock. Pro is bought on the iPhone, and it unlocks them on the watch too.
I can't check off a day before my habit started
A habit begins on its start date, so the days before it stay closed. To fill them in, open the habit and move its Start date (on the Mac, Started) earlier.
Seeing how HabitLoom works again
Settings → Help has Learn HabitLoom, a short replay of each feature, and Take the tour again and Show onboarding again. On the Mac they are in the Help menu.
The week starts on the wrong day
Settings → Week starts on. HabitLoom takes it from your phone the first time it opens and keeps it after that, so change it there if it is wrong.
Deleting your account or your data
From the app, while signed in: Settings → Account → Delete account, then Tap again to delete (on a Mac, Settings… → Account, then Click again to delete). Apple or Google may ask you to sign in once more to confirm. This deletes your account and the habits synced to it. Your habits stay on this device, and uninstalling HabitLoom removes those too. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription.

Bugs and ideas
Both are welcome at support@sogdyapps.com. HabitLoom is a small independent app and requests from people who use it are how it gets better.
